LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAMME

 

• Lessons cost £9:60 per half-hour lesson – termly amount paid on or before first lesson

• No more than four children per instructor

• Qualified, patient and enthusiastic instructors

• Pool lifeguard/NRASTC equivalent in attendance at every session

• 1:1 and 1:2 lessons available

 

Our Learn to Swim Programme is available for children age 3+ from Monday to Sunday at different pools on different days with lessons running daily. All instructors work to the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming syllabus and we carefully plan sessions to meet these goals as well aiming to give children vital water skills.

 

Small group sessions (no more than four children in each group –higher levels may vary) last 30 minutes and cost £9:60 per session (termly amount due upfront). We endeavour to spend as much of that time in the pool as possible, but this time does allow for any relevant discussion and safe entries and exits.

As our groups are small, differentiation is more easily achieved than in larger group numbers. We believe all learners are individuals and that groupings are most successful when swimming level and level of water confidence are considered; we take all of this into account when placing children in groups; we want all swimmers to be in the best group for them to enable optimum progress.
