We are unable to offer refunds or credits for any lessons missed unless a medical note is provided. It is the parent’s responsibility to inform/update the centre of any medical conditions that the child may have which, would affect the child’s performance whilst attending swimming lessons.  Due to your booking being for the full term and therefore reserved for you for that duration, we are unable to credit or refund any holidays booked during that term.

How is my child assessed?

All pupils work towards the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

Progression of all pupils will be at the judgment of the teacher in accordance with the progression within the criteria of the “Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming”.

Pupils will be moved up a Stage during term time if they meet the skills criteria required for movement to the next stage and will not be deliberately held back until the end of a term before progressing. If we need your child to move groups to aid their progression we will make this suggestion during, or at the end of the term.

Due to the continuous progressive nature of our programme, and the variety of ability levels within each session, we cannot guarantee a specific time slot on progression.

How Can I Support My Child's Progress Between Lessons?

Here are some ways to support your child's swimming progress:

  • Practice Regularly: Schedule visits to the pool to practice skills learned during lessons.
